About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for 24-hour TWOV?

Hi,

I'm Malaysian,

I will fly from Manila to Dubai via Guangzhou and the transit time is 17h 25m. Should I apply for the Chinese Visa or I eligible for the 24 free visas? I will out form the airport and staying at the hotel provided by China Southern airlines.

Unfortunately, the recent practice by Chinese immigration authorities strongly indicates that Malaysian citizens are not eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. To be allowed to travel on the mentioned route, you should definitely obtain a Chinese transit (G) visa in advance.
