Got a working visa and got pregnant - what happens after giving birth?

Hi, I’ve got a Z visa for one year (till 6th Nov 2020) and found out that I’m pregnant. I know that my employer won’t keep me during maternity leave. Can I extend my Z visa next year even though I’m not employed or do I need to apply for a different one?

No, you can't extend the Z visa if you are not employed and you need leave before your visa expires, otherwise you will overstay in China.
