My consultant is sending me on vourist visa for studies in china.

Hey please answer this question Asap. He is sending me on tourist visa and telling me that he will get it changed to student (X1) visa in china only by colleges help. Does it really happen? I am going to Dalian medical university.

Thanks a lot for you answer. Does it have any consequences like will the college readily give me the X1 visa or do i have to get back to my country to get it done?

The college is responsible for giving all necessary documents. The Exit and Entry Administration is responsible for giving you the X1 visa. Whether they are willing to do so is not certain.
