Change Visum from S to M and back to S

Hello,

i'm living in Beijing with a S Visum as a spouse. Now I got the opportunity to work in China with an M Visum. Is it possible to change the Visum from S to M and after that back to S? Or is it even possible to have two types of visa at the same time?

It's possible to change the S to M and then back to S, but it's impossible to have two types of visa at the same time.
