About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit Visa

I hold a Palestinian passport and will travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from Canada.
I have a 5 hours transit time in Hong kong airport when go to Malaysia and when come back to Canada as well.
So Can you confirm me I have to get a Transit Visa or no ?and can I get it in Airport ?

Hong Kong is treated differently than Mainland China and has different visa requirements. Palestine Passport needs a visa to enter Hong Kong. You can stay inside the international transit area for up to 48 hours: The official wording from TIMATIC:

Visa required, except for Passengers with a confirmed onward
(Air-to-Air or Air-to-Sea) ticket to a third country within 48
hours. They must stay in the international transit area and
have documents required for the next destination.
