Duel Thai/USA citizen visa application in Bangkok

Hi/Sawat dee kha,
I am a duel Thai/US citizen l residing in the US. I do also own a house in Bangkok. My employment is in the USA. I would like to apply for Chinese visa in Bangkok using my Thai passport, as it is obviously less expensive than USA passport. Will I have any problems with these facts.

Where will you do the application? If you do it in the US, you have to use the US passport. If you do it in Thailand, you can use the Thai passport.
