I would like to apply for Chinese visa in Bangkok using my Thai passport, as it is obviously less expensive than USA passport. Will I have any problems with these facts. Thanks!Rattiya

Where will you do the application? If you do it in the US, you have to use the US passport. If you do it in Thailand, you can use the Thai passport.
