About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hours free visa

Ii have a flight from lisbon to beijing (beijing International daxing aeroport) from 09 and another fligt from beijing to bali on the 12th, do i need visa?

Yes, unfortunately you do because your flight JD430 has a stop in Xi'an before its arrival in Beijing. The rule is simple and it says that if you have two consecutive stops within mainland China, you are limited to just 24 hour visa free transit. Anyway, if you intend to stay for more than 24 hours, you will have to obtain a Chinese tourist (L) visa in advance at CVASC in Lisbon.
