About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Married with Chinese Woman, Q1 visum

I will marry a Chinese woman soon. We plan to spend several months per year together in China. I have German nationality.
Can I apply for a Q1 visa and then request temporary residence permit in the city where my wife is living?

Manfred, after you get married, you can apply for a Q1 visa in the Chinese embassy and then request temporary residence permit in the city where your wife is living.
