About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I would like to travel to Shanghai with my husband on his last flight as a Delta Air Lines Captain.

This trip will be in March. The date in not firm yet and won’t be until mid February 2020. I will be staying for about 4 nights. He has a valid visa through his job.

You will need to apply for a tourist (L) visa if you are flying on a cash ticket and will not be in transit to a third country.

If you will be on a standby ticket, a tourist (L) visa regardless if its a transit or not.
