Hong Kong training visa

I'm Swiss and I'll be in Hong Kong for 8 weeks with a training visa but I was wondering if I could stay an additional week after my programme ends for tourism. Can I just go out of Hong Kong and come back as a tourist? Do I have to show proof of plane tickets to get the visa?

Marie, after the training, if your training visa is till valid, you can stay for an additional week. If the allowed stay duration ends, you can go out of HK to Macau or somewhere else, and then come back visa-free as a tourist. Generally speaking, you don't need to show proof of plane tickets.
