About:China Private Visit Visa

Help filling in form

Hi
My husband is applying for an S1 visa, I'm not sure what to put on the 'maximum duration of longest stay' and 'validity of visa'. He intends to stay with me until July 2020 - but I know that on an S1 visa he can only stay 30 days and then must transfer to family residence permit, and the validity is 3 months. So should I put 30 days; 3 months for my answers - or will this look conflicting, as he's ultimately applying to stay for more than 180 days?
Thanks

You should put in the actually days he wanted to stay, about 270 days I think. After he get the S1 visa, he can apply for a temporary residence permit within 30 days following the date and arrival. The validity of residence permit is to be determined by the officer. In your case, it should cover the 270 days.
