a day trip to zhangjiajie national forest

I am traveling alone to there. Is it possible to explore zjj national forest without private tour guide? Could it be done in one full day?

You can travel alone but it is suggested to stay for 2-3 days. And the entry ticket is valid for 3 days.

From information i got, there's a lot places to visit in zhangjiajie National forest. Could i had some information where i should visit first an  route i take, if i only a full day to explore zhangjiajie National forest?
