You will not get any kind of visa because 144 hour visa free transit is a - transit without a visa.
So, if your itinerary is eligible, you will print out your flight tickets and have those printouts with you. Also, you will declare at check-in in the country from where you will depart to Beijing that you will travel to a country X (a country that will follow immediately after your stay in Beijing) via Beijing using 144 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection, you will be allowed to board the plane.
Upon your landing in Beijing, you will approach 144 hour visa free transit counter where you will fill out the blue form and present to the authorities your onward ticket. After a short inspection, you will get a sticker in your passport (free of charge) and be allowed to exit the airport and to enjoy your time as you wish.
So, please, just use correct terminology to avoid any possible misunderstandings.
