About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
72 Hour Visa
I am an American flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Xiamen, China then to Los Angles. My layover is 30 hours in Xiamen and I would like to take advantage of the 72 hour visa. My only concern is that leaving from Xiamen we have a “technical” stop in Qingdao, China for 2 hours where we have to exit the plane. Does this make me ineligible for 72 hour visa? If not, will they allow me to stay in the airport for 30 hours?
