I am Russian citizen going to Expo in Shanghai

HI there, I am planning on going to Expo in Shanghai Nov 24to Nov 29th.
do I require visa?

If you arrange your itinerary like Country A - Shanghai - Country C, you can possibly use the 144h visa-free transit in Shanghai, so visa is not required. If you go from a country to Shanghai and then immediatly return to that country, you will need a visa.
