Difference K24 and K4

I would like to travel on 13 Sep from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing. I see you can chose between K24 and K4. Can you tell me what the difference is?
In the notes is also mentioned that the K23 on Tuesday has Chinees carriages with a deluxe Soft sleeper with private small toilet and shower. Does this train also run from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing? If yes, on what day will this be? We can still change the days. Thank you!

Well, K4 is coming from Moscow, Russia to Beijing and it stops at Ulaanbaatar too. K24, however, operates from Ulaanbaatar as begining station. The facilities on K24 is a little better as K4/K3 is a old train.

K23 on Tuesday from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar should be the same train K24 from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing on Thursday, so the situation is the same.

The problem is, your travel date is for Sep, 2020? If for Sep, 2020, the running date is K24 is not known yet! There is only confirmed date for trip before the end of May, 2020. K23/K24 may not still run on Tuesday and Thursday in Sep, 2020.
