ID copy of signatory (of invitation letter) is mandatory？

Hi Sir/Madam
Would you please confirm, whether we should provide the ID copy of signatory (of invitation letter) to China Embassy in DEHLI & MUMBAI ? If the ID copy is not available, can we provide the business certification of our company as the replacement of ID copy?

Which visa type do you apply for? If it's for M type, you can provide the business certification of the inviting company.
