Do you need to provide a invitation letter every time you re-enter on a Q2 visa?

I already have a valid Q2 visa, however, I will be visiting China with my girlfriend (won’t be visiting family this time). Do I need to provide an invitation letter for re-entry?

No, you just need to provide the invitation letter when you apply for the visa. After you get visa, you no longer need to provide this invitation letter for re-entry.
