Hello Sir,

I want to travel Guangzhou from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by plane and apply for 144 hours transit visa and return back to Malaysia again. Is it possible? or what would be the alternative way.

Thanks,

Unfortunately, Malaysian citizens are not eligible for any kind of Chinese visa free transit scheme at the time being. Your only option to perform your planned itinerary is by obtaining a Chinese visa in advance.

By the way, there is another option. This is 6-Day Visa Exemption for Tourists to Pearl River Delta. This is the option where you can join a tour to the most interesting parts of Guangdong province by an authorized, Hong Kong based tourist agency. You can, of course, create a tour according to your wishes and the agency can perform exactly such a tour, visa free. Of course, this requires that you start a conversation with several Hong Kong based agencies and see which one will offer you the best conditions.
