About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Xiamen

Planning on flying from the Uk to compete in Ironman in Xiamen on nov 10. Does the 144 hr apply?

I plan on landing in on the 7th and leave on the 11th nov.

You can use 144 hour visa free transit, but have in mind that the immediate airports before and after Xiamen have to be in different countries! For example, you can take a direct flight from Amsterdam to Xiamen, but you cannot return back to Amsterdam, but you have to travel to, let's say Hong Kong and from there return to Amsterdam or directly to London.

So, itinerary:

Country A - Xiamen - Country C

Is necessary to be allowed to enjoy 144 hour visa free transit in Xiamen and, please, have in mind that Xiamen has to be your only Chinese stop. In other words, you are not allowed to have any additional landing of any kind on your flights to and from Xiamen in mainland China!
