About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Z-Visa outside China

Hello, I currently have the M-Visa and already received the work permit letter from the company to apply for the Z-Visa. However, I'm China and would like to know if I have to go outside and get new visa or there is any way I can get new visa in china mainland.

You can firstly try to change your M visa to Z visa at the local Exit and Entry Administration in China. If it cannot be done, you have to leave and apply for it outside China.
