Invitation for Tourism Visa
So I'm going to visit Beijing for two weeks in December, and since I have a Chinese friend living there, I asked him if he'd be ok with helping me with an Invitation for my visa. I foolishly thought that would give me better chances of getting a visa, so he sent me a completed invitation form and I put his name and details in the application form I filled out on the Visa Center's website, and made an appointment. However, I've been told that including an invitation in a tourist visa application could actually get my application rejected, and I'm unsure what to do at this point. My appointment is very soon and I don't know whether I should just not include the invitation (even though its existence is mentioned in the application) or include the invitation and hope for the best. I should probably point out the fact that I'm not going to be living with my friend during my trip - I have booked a room at a hotel, and I have the booking confirmation, my inbound and outbound flights and all my documents in order. So the invitation is quite redundant anyway, but i'm just worried that its existence would get my application denied... Any help is much appreciated!
