About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

I want to visit Beijing for 3 days next week. As there is no time to get a visa.

Would Tokyo -> Seoul -> Beijing -> Seoul -> Tokyo combination work for 144 hour visa, even if stop off in Seoul is only for a few hour?

Seoul-Beijing-Seoul requires a visa. You must be in transit to a third country to travel visa-free.
