About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Expired Resident Permit

What should do if I have an expired residence permit. I have a 4 year visa, but I pasted the deadline to complete because of medical reasons. Do I have to go back to the US and get a new student visa. I have another question, my brother has a wedding soon, could I go to the airport and leave if my residency is up.

Ryan, have you overstayed your residence permit? If yes, you need to pay the fine first, and apply for an exit permit before leaving China. For entering again, you need to get a new visa.
