Single Entry S2 Visa going for Business Trip

I am currently holding a single-entry S2 visa for internship purposes in China. It expires on 31st Jan 2020, and I am flying back to Singapore on 23rd Jan 2020. But, I may have an upcoming business trip on 10th Jan 2020. Going for the business trip would make my S2 visa void, as it is single-entry. However, can I re-enter China after the business trip based on the 'free' 14 days? As based on my understanding, Singapore passports allow the holder to enter mainland China for 14 days without a visa.

Yes, you can re-enter by using the 14-day visa-free policy for Singaporean passport holders.
