About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Visa-free stay in Beijing

Hi there,
Two questions:
1) I am journalist from Switzerland on a vacation (no business trip) and I am planning on staying 144 hours visa-free in Beijing in December (flying in from Seoul and continuing to Bangkok or Hong Kong). Do you foresee any problems boarding the plane in South Korea and entering Beijing related to my profession?
2) Is it possible, after having enjoyed a visa-free stay in Bejing, to get a single entry tourist visa for mainland China in Hong Kong?

Nick, since your profession is somewhat sensitive, you had better prepare a visa in advance at your country. And it's not very possible for you to get a visa in Hong Kong.
