About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 Hours transit Milano Shanghai

Hi today I have to confirm my flight so I would be pleased to confirm me if I can make the 72 hours transit if I fly like this:

Milano - Hong Kong change flight - Shanghai - Hong Kong

Or better

Milano - Shanghai - Hong Kong ?

Hong Kong-Shanghai-Hong Kong will require a visa in advance.

so i we take direct flight Milano to shanghai then stay 72 hours permit in shanghai and then fly to hong kong is ok? thanks for your kind confirmation Cinzia

Yes, Milano - Shanghai - Hong Kong is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area.

Anyway, you should take care that you don't have any additional landings of any kind within mainland China.
