About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour free transit,

I’am Indonesian and live in Osaka Japan. If I board from Osaka by ferry and arrive in Shanghai Port, can I get 72 hours free visa in China, because will go to vietnam by train and than go home. How I can get it ? Thanks.

The train to Vietnam requires a visa.

Vietnam visa can apply in International check point in Vietnam ? Because indonesian is free.

Naryono, as Juliet has mentioned, to be allowed to use the train for Vietnam you need a Chinese visa obtained in advance. Also, Indonesian citizens are not eligible for 72 or 144 hour visa free transit, but just for 24 hour TWOV option. To conclude, you need a Chinese tourist (L) visa obtained in advance if you want to travel in the way as you have written.
