About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour visa free

Hi, I have a Vietnamese passport and I will have my tickets purchased for the round trip Taiwan- France via Pudong (6hours). I have schengen visa and Taiwan visa but I don't have Chinese visa. I’m just wondering if I still need a transit visa for it? Thank you!

No, you don't any kind of visa because your itinerary will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit in Shanghai. You should just print out your flight tickets and have the printouts with you. Also, you will declare in Taiwan, at check-in, that you will travel to France via Shanghai using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection you will be allowed to board the plane.
