So you mean that I cant take the 24 hour visa and than sit and wait 24hour til the flight.
I have to be away in 24 hour?

No, you are not allowed to do that. Since you will have two consecutive stops in two different Chinese transit zones, you are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit only, but you will have to accomplish your itinerary within 24 hour time frame. Anyway, if you retain the actual itinerary, you will have to obtain a Chinese tourist (L) visa in advance.

Lars, there is no 24 hour visa. You have to accomplish your journey within China within 24 hours time frame to be eligible for 24 hour visa free transit or obtain a Chinese tourist (L) visa in advance if you want to retain the actual itinerary. Trust me, there is no other way.
