About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Will the 144 hr transit visa cancel my work visa?

I have a work visa to china for my employment with a US airline. Will the application and issuance of the 144 hour transit visa cancel my work visa?

That depends on whether you meet the criteria of 144-hour transit, i.e., whether you are in transit and have a confirmed ticket. (IIRC crew visa holders can only enter China on the visa when on airline duty, so if you are not eligible for 144-hour transit you need a standard tourist visa which will cause the cancellation of their crew visa.)
