MSC cruise port change

Hi again Zupan
The cruise port I originally sent an inquiry to you (July 26) about has now been changed, it was to be Nansha, has now been changed to Shekou port. Our other ports itinerary still remains the same, i.e. Stop at Singapore, then China (now Shekou) then onto Hong Kong. My question is, do the visa requirements still remain the same as your last answer? I have read on China discovery site that to qualify there are only 3 airports you must enter from but 53 ports, Nansha and Shekou among them that you can exit from. Would it be possible to let me know. Many thanks again

Indeed, it is still the fact that only three airports within Guangdong province are eligible for visa free transit entry. There are no changes in this regard, unfortunately. I just hope that some news will appear during or shortly after November because of Nansha cruise terminal completion, although I understand that your port of call will be Shekou in Shenzhen and not Nansha as it was planned to be.

I have to apologize for not remembering when will your cruise depart, but if we are talking about the time after New Year, then you should wait for two more months, but if your cruise date is approaching, then I suggest you to apply for a Chinese transit (G) or tourist (L) visa right now.
