About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Munich- Beijing - Seoul for Iranian Citizens

Hi all, I am a student in Germany but I am originally from Iran. I am traveling to seoul with a transit in Beijing for 5 hours, do you think that might be a problem? do I need to apply for a visa in advance or it is OK? Thank you.

No, you don't need nay kind of visa because your itinerary is perfectly eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Beijing.

You should print out your flight tickets and have those printouts with you, ready to be presented to relevant authorities. You will declare at check-in in Munich that you will travel to Seoul via Beijing using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection, you will be allowed to board the plane.

If traveling on a single ticket, you will just remain in Beijing airport transit area. There will be no problems at all. Just be relaxed.
