Is it possible to re-apply for a tourist visa next day after X2 application denied?

+Student visa application denial+

I'm a filipino passport holder and had applied for X2 visa with my JW202 attached and admission letter from the university. The problem is that the JW202 form that the school issued- gave a me a year. The embassy questioned this and required me to provide specfic stint of stay for 6months if I'm applying for a X2 with my Bank certificate. I had provided 6mos SOA and Bank certificate
however the school told me this is standard and can't adjust the dates they had initially issued so I told this with to the embassy.
Could this be possible reason why my visa got denied or lack of financial status (if so any idea how much should I have in my bank)?

Though my fiance has the financial capability who is American citizen and holding a work residency in China but didnt mentioned as my sponsor..

Is it possible to write an appeal and mentioned bout my fiance?

Also , can I re-apply for a tourist visa instead the next day after denial or what coulld be the earliest possible I can apply. The clerk in embassy told me to re-apply after 6 months but 6 months is just too long to near.
I dont have a stamp on my passport saying it's denied but it was so devastating cause my fiance and I been waiting for this. Hoping for your feedback. please help

Flynn, actually I think the reason for your visa denial is that your financial proof is not enough to cover the whole stay in China, and the school gave a one-year stay duration while X2 only allows 180 days.

You can try to apply again, but the result is still not guaranteed. Mentioning your fiance does not help much because you are not married.
