Taking high Speed rail Haikou airport to Asian Dragon Bay to stay at Sheraton or MGM. Next day visit Nanshan temple and possibly Luhuitou Park before taking high speed rail back to airport for 1:30am next day flight to Sydney. I know i picked the worst time to visit since its at end of Golden Week.
