About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

im a filipino but working in united arab emirates (dubai)

im a filipino but working in united UAE (dubai) for 4years now and im taking my vacation. My flight details will be from UAE to guangzhou to philipiines and return flight. I would like to ask if i am qualify or will i able be to utilize the 72hr Visa Free program? because my flight will arrive in guangzhou on 09th december at 12:40 pm and my next flight to philippines is on the next day 10th december at 12:40pm. My return flight i will also staying in guangzhou for a day.

Michael, if I have properly understood you, your first layover is exactly 24 hours long. If this is the case, you are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Guangzhou and you don't need any kind of visa. Please, just be careful because even a minute over 24 hours and you would not be eligible for any kind of visa free transit scheme because Philippine citizens are eligible for 24 hour visa free transit only. Also, be careful about your return flight back because, again, your layover in Guangzhou cannot be longer than 24 hours. Here we speak about the transit time from your scheduled arrival in China, until your scheduled departure from China.
