About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Bali-Shanghai-Taipei

Could you please advise, Would this be eligible for 72 hour transit visa?

If those are your only stops, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area. Please, be informed that 72 hour visa free transit was replaced by 144 hour visa free transit a couple of years ago. Also, please, use correct terminology because this is not a "transit visa", but a visa free transit, so there are no visas at all.
