About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hours Free visa in Harbin

Good afternoon.
I have a flight between Taipei and Harbin and I would like to take advantage of the 72 hours free visa in Harbin. But my flight has a stopover in Guangzhou. Could I still have my 72 hours free visa for Harbin (because it's my final destination) or do I have to have a direct flight to Harbin to get it ? Many thanks for tour help.

The stop in Guangzhou limits you to 24 hours visa-free transit in China. To have 72 hours without visa, you must fly non-stop to Harbin, and then non-stop to a third country (not mainland China, not Taiwan).
