About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I want to go to Shenzhen for 8 days. What kind of visa do I need, where do I get it from?

I'm a UK citizen. I'm deciding whether to fly to Hong Kong and travel daily to Shenzhen or fly to and stay in the city. How much would the visa cost?

If you go there for tourism purpose, you need to apply from a tourist L visa from the nearest CVASC office. A visa costs 151 pounds. Perhaps you can get a Shenzhen 5-day visa on arrival instead, which may costs around CNY 304.
