On a tourist visa (Schengen) in Germany

I have a Schengen visa - tourist but I only stay in Berlin as I booked an Airbnb. I'll be here for 60 days.
Can I apply for a Chinese visa - tourist here? Thank you!

Hi,
I finally managed to call and check with the visa centre here in Berlin, but it turned out I can't apply for a tourist visa to China here if I come from a third country and don't have a residence permit. :(
Just wanna post it here to give information.
