Travelling in china during golden week

Hi, i dont know of 1st oct is golden week, as i already booked the flight ticket to shanghai n Beijing, is there really so crowded in there?? Bit worry coz i bring along children? Are they really cant walk to scenic place like forbidden city??

Yes, generally speaking, there would have crowded tourists in major attractions. You are suggested to arrive at the scenic areas early and avoid long waiting line.
