Birodh, you don't need any kind of visa because your transit through China is perfectly eligible for 24 hour visa free transit. You will declare at check-in in Sydney that you will fly to Kathmandu via China and you will present them your tickets that you need to have with you in hard copy. After that you will be allowed to board the plane. After your landing in Wuhan, you will apply for 24 hour free entry permit and perform all the necessary formalities and from this moment you will travel though China as a domestic passenger. You will be in such a status until your crossing the immigration at Kunming airport. To conclude, you are ready to go. Enjoy your flights.
