Has the requirements for visa applications for Zhuhai changed ?

I was in Zhuhai last week and applied for a 3 day visa at Zhuhai port. I had my photo, passport and accompanying letters of introduction from my company. I was advised by the border control that I now needed a photocopy of my picture, with some text around it as the requirements were recently changed. I got no further information as I was allowed in on a tourist visa, but I would appreciate some feedback as to what are these changes, and how can I ensure that the next time I travel to Zhuhai I comply with the requirements

No, the requirements were not changed, but the immigration authorities were trying to tell you that this visa is intended to be used primarily for tourist and not business purposes. Indeed, this visa is usually used by tourist visiting Zhuhai area, but the truth is that many business people also use it for business purposes, but they never tell that so loudly as you did :)

In other words, the next time when you apply for Zhuhai or Shenzhen visa, you should just declare that your visit has tourist purposes. So, bring your passport, passport size photo and fill out the application form as a tourist. After you enter Zhuhai, you can of course met your business partners "by chance".
