About:Marriage Registration in China

Hi, this is Krish. I'm from India and currently I'm staying in china with M visa.

I'm married with Chinese citizen in Hongkong few months ago and I do have hongkong marriage certificate. How can I apply for Q1 visa in China and which documents are required from both side?

You could go to the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) Exit and Entry Administration office to change your M visa into the Q1 visa. The needed documents are your passport, the completed visa application form with a photo, the invitation letter provided by your wife, both sides Photocopy of your wife's Chinese ID, original and photocopy of your marriage certificate.
