About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

If I need a visa arriving Beijing on the 4th of October and level to go Thailand on the 7th

I depart from london Heathrow the 3rd of October and arrive at Beijing capital the 4th of October 8 in the morning. I depart from Beijing on the 7th of October to go Thailand at 6:40. Will I need a visa?

No as long as your flight to Thailand doesn't have another stop in China ( I'm sure your flight fro mLondon is nonstop).

Yes on the 4th I arrive in Beijing on the 7th I go to Phuket and then Phuket to Chengdu on the 15th and then straight back to london same day? I definitely do not need a visa?

You definitely don't need any kind of visa because during both of your arrivals in China you are obviously in transit.
