About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Single entry visit visa for China

I have been granted a single entry visit visa for China. I am thinking of a cruise from China to Japan and back to China at the last few days of my staying in China before I fly back to NZ. Am I eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit? Thanks

Daisy, you probably even don't need any kind of visa for your planned itinerary. If your itinerary is:

New Zealand - China - Japan
Japan - China - New Zealand

Actually, you were not precise enough, but you can correct it by telling us about your precise itinerary and to explain why did you apply for a visa at all. Maybe you intend to travel somewhere within China after your cruise, i.e. to the areas not covered by 144 hour visa free transit?

Please, just tell us a bit more precisely about the details of your flight/cruise itinerary and we will be able to offer you a reliable and correct answer.
