About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

How to apply for the transit visa? (Hangzhou)

Hi, my trip will be Seoul (ICN) - Hangzhou (HGH) - Amsterdam (AMS) - London (LHR). I wish to obtain a transit visa in Hangzhou Xiaoshan airport. How do I apply for this visa? Is there a section inside the airport that processes transit visas? Apart from booking plane tickets and a hotel, what other preparations are needed?
Thank you!

First of all, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area.

You will print out your flight tickets and have them in hard copy. Also, you will declare in Seoul at check-in that you will travel to Amsterdam via Hangzhou using 144 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection, you will be allowed to board the plane.

Upon your arrival in Hangzhou, you will just follow the signs for TWOV or 24/144 hour visa free transit. At the counter that will be visible you will fill out the blue form and present your onward ticket to Amsterdam. Shortly after that, you will get a sticker in your passport and be allowed to exit the airport and to explore Shanghai area. That's it.
