About:Macau Visa Policy

I am travelling to Macau from India andneed to present a research paper there

Do I need a visa in first place as read that Indians do not require a visa for 30 days. Further, does this qualify as a tourist visa . I am there for about a week.

You will get one on arrival but be sure to bring proof of funds of no less than HK$5,000, proof of accomodation and return ticket to minimize the risk of entry refusal.
