About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

How long without a passport?

When applying for the Temporary Residence Permit it could take 6 weeks, or more. How much of that time are you without your passport?

Your passport will return back together with the residence permit. But the photocopy of your passport can be used during the gap.
