About:Marriage Registration in China

Getting Married in China

I am an Irish citizen living in Ireland and my fiance is from China and living there and we want to get married in China what are the procedures and what paper work do I need to get and when we get married can my wife return to Ireland with me

You could apply for a trourist visa to China and go to the municipal Civil Affairs Bureau (Minzheng Ju in Chinese) with your fiancee. You should take your passport and Single Status Certificate which should be authenticated by the China embassy in your country. You wife can go to Ireland with you.
